This is Bob's last album on Elektra and, at the time, the recording with which he was most pleased. He took great pride in the fact that he wrote, or co-wrote, 13 of the 14 songs - half in collaboration, for the first time, with Shel Silverstein. Bob's 12-string playing was fully realized and, to coincide with the release of the album, TRO published The Bob Gibson Song Book, complete with sheet music and tablature.
