(2021) The new CD is twelve songs,
assembled over the last three years, some new
and some new recordings of older songs.
As usual it's off in several directions and
may blow my folkie credentials completely but
that's a chance I'll have to take. I like to
explore different genres and try not to
repeat myself. So this one is sort of folk,
rock, jazz, pop, Americana, R&B, comedy and
reggae. If you like that sort of thing.
To buy the CD, put a 1 in the quantity box (unless you want more than one of course); to buy the album as MP3s, check the box for the MP3 album.

Books |
The Palatine Ship Ghost Ship of Block Island
(1994) This little book tells the story of
the Princess Augusta, which ran aground on
Sandy Point, on the northern tip of Block
Island in 1738. The wreck was written about
by John Greenleaf Whittier in 1867 in his
poem "The Wreck of the Palatine". Rob picks
through the facts and the legends.
Long Kate A Tale of Block Island
(2010) Long Kate is a work of fiction based
on Rob's research into the real events of
1738, described in his non-fiction book,
The Palatine Ship, Ghost Ship of Block
Island (see above). He writes about real
people, but the actions and relationships
among them are fictional.

Assisted Living | |
Out of print - we have a few more copies!
(2007) "And for humor ... David Buskin,
Rob Carlson and George Wurzbach finally
produced a very
funny CD most of which can be played on
the radio. It ranges from inane
to insane. Most of the writing is clever,
witty and on-target." - Rich Warren,
WFMT's "Midnight Special" Favorites of
2007

Modern Immaturity | |
Out of print - we have a few more copies!
(2004) "Listening musically to
Modern
Immaturity you'll hear the Beach Boys,
Dylan, and bits of other voices and
writers that you'll recognize. But then
when you really tune into the lyrics, you
realize it is three very funny men who
have mastered making folk hilarious." -
Angela Page, Sing Out!, September 22,
2004

The Wide Album Live at the Bottom Line
Out of print - we have a few more
copies!
Recorded live at the Bottom Line:
May
7, 1999. The thing that impresses the
listener is the interaction with the
audience, not just between songs but
during them. The album contains Rob's
"Inappropriate Singing Styles" and 3 other
self-penned songs.

The Last Wurz Video (DVD format)
(2015) Length 1:55. On October 10th the
Walkabout
Clearwater Coffee House presented "The
Last Wurz", David, George and Rob in their
final performance. This is a three camera
video of the event, available on both DVD-
R (this item) or BD-R (Blu-Ray) in high
definition. This is the DVD format
disc.
It always seemed to them that their studio
albums, while not too shabby, could never
capture what Modern Man really did live.
It was all the stuff that went on between
the songs, the barely controlled anarchy
that passed for a performance by David,
George and Rob, that made them what they
were. For the Modern Man fan, this is the
ultimate recording.
Recorded by Ethan Winer, Mark Weiss and
Mike Lavery.
